All year round you can enjoy the beautiful grounds and parkland at Lytham Hall. See the seasons unfold before you from snowdrop weekends in Spring to the flowers of summer. Ideal if you’re craving trees and birdlife other than the seaside varieties!
What’s On – Events at Lytham Hall
Lytham Hall hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year.
Regular events include Ghost Tours and Lytham Hall Talks. Join the 5k Parkrun weekly on Saturdays at 9am. If you’ve got green fingers, head for Greg Anderton’s Gardening Club.
Throughout the year there are gala dinners and antique valuation days, outdoor theatre and summer courtyard concerts.

Snowdrop Season – throughout February
Come and enjoy our famous snowdrops! Enjoy a trail through the parkland and marvel at the vast displays. There’s more about Snowdrop Season here.
Annual Flower Festival – April
Come and marvel at room after room of glorious floral arrangements and displays in the ambience of John Carr’s Georgian masterpiece. A wonderful event for all. Find details of this years Lytham Hall Flower Festival here
Classic Car and Motorcycle Show – May
At the Lytham Hall Classic Car and Motorcycle Show, you’ll see a large displays of classic cars, from Austin Sevens to Rolls Royce and everything in-between, plus motorcycles, light commercials and ex-military vehicles. More details about the Lancashire Coast Classic & Performance Motor Show here.
Lytham Club Day – June
Rose Queen Annie Johnson was the first Rose Queen in 1894, she represented St. Cuthbert’s church.
The event begins with a procession through the beautiful town of Lytham. It features the Rose Queen Elect and retinue, marching bands and dancers, decorated floats, classic cars and more besides.
It’s a day for everyone – from Punch & Judy shows throughout the day to Morris Dancers and performers all over town. After the parade, the day continues at Lytham Hall. Enjoy an afternoon and evening of entertainment, games, food stalls and fun for all the family. Bring your picnic!

Mini Meet – July
Around 14 Mini Car Clubs from all over the country descend on Lytham Hall. There will be a mix of over 250 classic Minis and BMW Minis on display for you to come and marvel at!
Vintage Bus Day – August
Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust will be displaying vintage buses and coaches in front of the the Hall, as well as running a free bus service which will connect the Hall with Lytham Town Centre, Fairhaven Lake and onwards to St Anne’s Square.
Access to the grounds of the hall is free but please note that no parking is available at the hall (except for disabled).
Christmas at Lytham Hall
Each year, the festive celebrations at the finest Georgian house in Lancashire take on a different theme and subject. Enjoy a festive tour six evenings a week and five afternoons a week over a period spanning six weeks.
Each years tour is based around a special theme. See it brought to life in this special Victoriana festive tour of the finest Georgian house in Lancashire. Journey from room to room adorned by the most magnificent decoration. The interior of this wonderful building will be a sight to behold as Fylde’s finest heritage asset comes alive in a festival of light throughout. No booking required for afternoon tours.

Set in 78 acres of wooded parkland on the edge of Lytham town centre. Visit a splendid Grade One listed Georgian country mansion, the ancestral home of the Clifton family. Enjoy a tour of the historic house, explore the parkland. Visit the Garden hub, animal hub, and antique and reclamation centre.

BBC Antiques Roadshow Comes to Lytham Hall in 2019
Lytham Hall is delighted to be chosen as one of the few nationwide locations for the 42nd series of the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. The programme filmed on Tuesday June 11 2019.
Managers at the Hall had negotiated with the BBC for many months and were thrilled to be one of nine places filmed in 2019. “As you can imagine we are over the moon,” explains Deputy Manager Paul Lomax.
“To have a national institution such as the Antiques Roadshow coming to Lytham Hall is testament to all the hard work staff and volunteers have been putting in over the last couple of years. The programme is so high profile, which in turn will be amazing for the Hall. We received the good news before Christmas but had to keep it secret until the BBC revealed all of their new locations. As you can imagine – it’s been very difficult!”
