Finding your way to Lytham by public transport or car.
provided by GoEuro
It's quite a direct route into town from the main motorway network, from Blackpool and from Preston - you can find out more on the page about travelling to Lytham by car.
The tram service on the Fylde Coast ends at Starr Gate at the southern edge of Blackpool, and from there you can pick up the bus service to travel into Lytham. As you can see on the photo, there are stops right in the centre of town, making it really easy to get around for both locals and visitors.
Lytham is served by two railway stations. Ballam Road at Lytham, and Ansdell and Fairhaven, which is next to the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club. From here, frequent trains run to Blackpool North, along with a service to Kirkham, Preston and Colne.
