- Limited numbers in stores with designated queueing systems

25 Years of Affinity Lancashire!
12 September 2020 marked 25 years since Freeport Fleetwood first opened its doors. In 2018 it became Affinity Lancashire.
How many years have you been shopping there? Do you remember the old site with the American Diner and the fishing boat?
We’ve explored the history of the site, right back to the opening of the original fish dock!
Face Masks on Sale
With face masks mandatory in stores as of 24th July, there’s a great selection on sale in a number of shops.
‘New Normal’ at Affinity Lancashire
Affinity joined other non-essential retailers in reopening from 15 June 2020. As everywhere else, the centre looks a little different...
We went along to take a look, just as lockdown eased –
You’ll find ‘new normal’ signage in place to keep those visiting and working in the centre as safe as possible.
Each store is operating their own social distancing measures, which will include limiting the number of people inside each unit. If you arrive and a store is full please queue outside the store on the markers provided. To maintain social distancing the length of the queues may be restricted. Please be patient if this happens. All measures are for the safety of all on the centre.
Different Opening Times
Please check before travelling if you need a particular store. Some individual store opening times may be different.
The centre is open 10am-6pm Monday – Saturday and 11am-5pm Sundays.
There’s a new one-way system in place at the main front door, along with hand sanitiser stations. Please check out the information and use the hand sanitiser to maintain good hand hygiene. They are also sited around the centre for your use.
Please wear face coverings while you are on site at Affinity Lancashire. There is a bin at the exit, in addition to others around the malls, to dispose of these as required.
A limited numbers of public toilets will be available, adjacent to the entrance. They are deep cleaned daily and checked each hour. Alternate sinks and cubicles are closed with markers on the floor outside. Please use these and respect the social distancing rules.
All children’s play equipment and rides are closed in line with government guidelines. Most seating has been removed to discourage groups from gathering. The remaining seating is for those who are infirm and need to rest briefly before moving on. Please maintain social distancing during these short periods of rest.
Your shopping experience at Affinity Lancashire will be different and it’s likely to remain this way for period of time.
As the centre gets used to the ‘new normal’, feedback and lessons learned will be used to adjust measures where needed. What’s most important is the safety of everyone visiting and working at Affinity Lancashire.
Keep smiling and keep your distance 🙂
