Never Been to Houndshill Shopping Centre?
Well here’s our quick guide to what to expect!
Houndshill Shopping Centre is sandwiched between Blackpool Winter Gardens and Bank Hey Street (where the back door of Blackpool Tower is). A big, pay on exit, multi-storey car park is incorporated into it.
Inside, the shopping is all on one flat level with even tiled floors, so it’s perfect for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Along with the seating in the mall it’s ideal for anyone who isn’t too fit and healthy! It’s also a great place to visit when the weather is poor. With everything undercover you won’t get wet on rainy days.
Upstairs (up the escalator) are public toilets and the food hall. Take your pick from different food retailers and eat at one of the tables.
Harry the Hound Kid’s Club
Do you have little ones? Ever brought them along to Harry the Hound Kid’s Club?
They’re craft workshops with a different theme, on the first Saturday of each month and they’re completely FREE! Make sure you pop by between 1-3pm.
Next Harry the Hound Kids Club is on Saturday 2 November.
Join Harry Hound and friends for a creative workshop to commemorate servicemen and women of the armed forces. Make Poppies and design and make toy planes. Learn about the significance of poppies and with your inspirational designs, help to create a Houndshill mural to mark Remembrance Sunday.
FREE Membership Collect your loyalty stamps at each of the free events. All ages are welcome to join in.

New River Island
In late 2018, River Island moved across the mall at Houndshill Shopping Centre. The new store opened on 17 November, it’s a bigger, brighter and better shop!
Free Barbershop
Look Sharp with Huntsman Male Grooming & Academy – they’ll be at River Island every last Sunday of the month. If you make a purchase in-store on the day you can grab a haircut for FREE. Yes you heard right, for FREE!

The indoor mall has the best in high street and independent traders, with more than 60 stores including Debenhams and Primark.
If you live right here on the Fylde Coast or you’re on a short or long break, with over sixty stores you don’t have to go far to experience excellent retail therapy. There are fantastic shops for you to enjoy at the Houndshill. They’re all undercover with convenient facilities nearby.

As you’d expect from a purpose built space, your comfort and convenience is the most important thing, so there are comfortable seats where you can rest your feet while you plan your next shopping adventure. Of course there are also public toilets – on the first floor adjacent to the Food Court.

Facilities at Houndshill Shopping Centre
Like all the best shopping centres, Houndshill is fully accessible. Whether you’re the guardian of a child in a buggy, a disabled companion, or just like the convenience, you’ll find lifts to the car parks and second floor food hall. Lift access is available opposite Bodycare. Disabled toilets, baby changing facilities and public toilets are located on the first floor next to the Food Court.
Places to Eat at Houndshill Shopping Centre
Why not take time out in your shopping day for a coffee or lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants.
You can grab a quick sugar rush from one of the take away cafes or newsagents. Maybe you’re meeting someone for a chat at one of the coffee bars. In Debenhams or the Food Court you can enjoy something a bit more substantial, with a choice from a wide menu of snacks and meals.
The Food Court is just up the escalator inside Houndshill Shopping Centre. There you’ll find Burger King, El Taco Loco, Roosters and Real Cafe all waiting to tickle your tastebuds!
Plenty of car parking
There’s convenient parking in our clean and well maintained multi-storey car park. It also holds a Park Mark Award, so you know that it meets the highest standards of safety and security.
The car park is also open outside shopping hours so you can park here and take in a show or have a meal. Access to the car park once the stores and main malls have closed is via the side door. It’s at the right hand side of the external New Look entrance, opposite the Winter Gardens and behind the small surface car park near the Houndshill access ramp.
A sparkling car – while you shop!
Cleaning the car can be time consuming, boring and dirty work …. so let someone else do it for you!
Inter Car Cleaning will clean while you shop, it’s that easy. Find them on Level 2 of the Houndshill car park.

Houndshill Shopping Centre in Lights!
Houndshill Shopping Centre has been pleased to support Blackpool Illuminations for several years. You might remember that Houndshill sponsored Alice’s Garden tableau, located at North Shore.
Well for 2018 Houndshill Shopping Centre is centre stage on Blackpool central promenade near Tower Festival Headland, with a brand new over-the-road installation. Did you see it?
